2012-12-13Merge tag 'dt' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-socLinus Torvalds1-1/+0
Pull ARM SoC device tree conversions and enablement from Olof Johansson: "Continued device tree conversion and enablement across a number of platforms; Kirkwood, tegra, i.MX, Exynos, zynq and a couple of other smaller series as well. ux500 has seen continued conversion for platforms. Several platforms have seen pinctrl-via-devicetree conversions for simpler multiplatform. Tegra is adding data for new devices/drivers, and Exynos has a bunch of new bindings and devices added as well. So, pretty much the same progression in the right direction as the last few releases." Fix up conflicts as per Olof. * tag 'dt' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (185 commits) ARM: ux500: Rename dbx500 cpufreq code to be more generic ARM: dts: add missing ux500 device trees ARM: ux500: Stop registering the PCM driver from platform code ARM: ux500: Move board specific GPIO info out to subordinate DTS files ARM: ux500: Disable the MMCI gpio-regulator by default ARM: Kirkwood: remove kirkwood_ehci_init() from new boards ARM: Kirkwood: Add support LED of OpenBlocks A6 ARM: Kirkwood: Convert to EHCI via DT for OpenBlocks A6 ARM: kirkwood: Add NAND partiton map for OpenBlocks A6 ARM: kirkwood: Add support second I2C bus and RTC on OpenBlocks A6 ARM: kirkwood: Add support DT of second I2C bus ARM: kirkwood: Convert mplcec4 board to pinctrl ARM: Kirkwood: Convert km_kirkwood to pinctrl ARM: Kirkwood: support 98DX412x kirkwoods with pinctrl ARM: Kirkwood: Convert IX2-200 to pinctrl. 2012-12-12Merge tag 'soc' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-socLinus Torvalds1-1/+1
Pull ARM SoC updates from Olof Johansson: "This contains the bulk of new SoC development for this merge window. Two new platforms have been added, the sunxi platforms (Allwinner A1x SoCs) by Maxime Ripard, and a generic Broadcom platform for a new series of ARMv7 platforms from them, where the hope is that we can keep the platform code generic enough to have them all share one mach directory. The new Broadcom platform is contributed by Christian Daudt. Highbank has grown support for Calxeda's next generation of hardware, ECX-2000. clps711x has seen a lot of cleanup from Alexander Shiyan, and he's also taken on maintainership of the platform. Beyond this there has been a bunch of work from a number of people on converting more platforms to IRQ domains, pinctrl conversion, cleanup and general feature enablement across most of the active platforms." 2012-04-04ARM: EXYNOS: Change System MMU platform device definitionsKyongHo Cho1-1/+1
Handling System MMUs with an identifier is not flexible to manage System MMU platform devices because of the following reasons: 1. A device driver which needs to handle System MMU must know the ID. 2. A System MMU may not present in some implementations of Exynos family. 3. Handling System MMU with IOMMU API does not require an ID. This patch is the result of removing ID of System MMUs. Instead, a device driver that needs to handle its System MMU must use IOMMU API while its descriptor of platform device is given. This patch also includes the following enhancements: - A System MMU device becomes a child if its power domain device. - clkdev Signed-off-by: KyongHo Cho <pullip.cho@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>

2012-03-14ARM: EXYNOS: add support device tree enabled board file for EXYNOS5Kukjin Kim1-0/+1

2012-03-14ARM: EXYNOS: add support uart for EXYNOS4 and EXYNOS5Kukjin Kim1-0/+1
Actually, the base address of uart is different between EXYNOS4 and EXYNOS5 and this patch enables to support uart for EXYNOS4 and EXYNOS5 SoCs at runtime. Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
2012-03-14ARM: EXYNOS: add initial setup-i2c0 for EXYNOS5Kukjin Kim1-1/+1
In all of Samsung platform, the setup-i2c0.c file for I2C channel 0 is always compiled. So when supporting new SoC,it should be updated for it. Since EXYNOS5 GPIO will be supported after this, there is no setup gpio in there now. It will be implemented with that, of course. Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
2012-03-10ARM: EXYNOS: replace clock.c for other new EXYNOS SoCsKukjin Kim1-1/+2
This patch changes the name of clock.c to clock-exynos4.c for other EXYNOS series such as EXYNOS5. And since the header file of clock is used only in arch/arm/mach-exynos, moves it in the local directory. Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
2012-01-27ARM: EXYNOS: Hook up power domains to generic power domain infrastructureThomas Abraham1-1/+1
Add support for generic power domain for Exynos4 platforms and remove the Samsung specific power domain control for Exynos4. The generic power domain infrastructure is used to control the power domains available on Exynos4. For non-dt platforms, the power domains are statically instantiated. For dt platforms, the power domain nodes found in the device tree are instantiated. 2012-01-03ARM: 7257/1: EXYNOS: introduce arch/arm/mach-exynos/common.[ch]Kukjin Kim1-3/+6

2011-11-06ARM: EXYNOS: Add ARCH_EXYNOS and reorganize arch/arm/mach-exynosKukjin Kim1-0/+60
The arch/arm/mach-exynos4 directory (CONFIG_ARCH_EXYNOS4) has made for plaforms based on EXYNOS4 SoCs. But since upcoming Samsung's SoCs such as EXYNOS5 (ARM Cortex A15) can reuse most codes in current mach-exynos4, one mach-exynos directory will be used for them. This patch changes to CONFIG_ARCH_EXYNOS (arch/arm/mach-exynos) but keeps original CONFIG_ARCH_EXYNOS4 in mach-exynos/Kconfig to avoid changing in driver side.
