2012-11-21ARM: clps711x: Add FIQ interrupt handlingAlexander Shiyan1-0/+3
CLPS711X-target CPU can have a several FIQ interrupts. With this patch we adds handling for a one which will be used for ALSA PCM later. Since FIQ have a separate handler we only add "mask" and "unmask" calls which will used for enable/disable_irq functions. 2012-09-28ARM: clps711x: Remove board support for CEIVAAlexander Shiyan1-48/+0
The current kernel does not fit in the CEIVA ROM. Also, some functional has already been removed due migrate from 2.6 to 3.0, and it seems that no one uses this platform. So, remove support for this board and modules specific only to this board. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru>
2012-09-28ARM: clps711x: Fix register definitionsAlexander Shiyan1-5/+4

2012-09-28ARM: clps711x: Fix lowlevel debug-macroAlexander Shiyan1-7/+1
CTS signal can not be used for the port and tied to any logic state. In this case we have an infinite loop waiting for the signal. For fix this problem, checking CTS removed, waiting for the signal "busy" was postponed after the byte write to the port. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru>
2012-09-28ARM: clps711x: Added simple clock frameworkAlexander Shiyan1-22/+1
Modern CPUs from CLPS711X-line can operate at frequencies other than 73 MHz. This patch adds simple clock framework for handling all possible CPU rates. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru>

2012-05-13ARM: clps711x: Combine header files into one for clps711x-targetsAlexander Shiyan1-23/+0
Current ARM7 Cirrus Logic product line contains only 3 cpu. EP7312 - Fully functional. EP7309 - Missing SDRAM interface. EP7311 - Missing DAI. It makes no sense to separate the header files to identify these differences, it is only necessary to keep in mind the presence or lack of any features of a specific CPU when writing code. 2012-01-05ARM: restart: remove the now empty arch_reset()Russell King1-4/+0
Remove the now empty arch_reset() from all the mach/system.h includes, and remove its callsite. Remove arm_machine_restart() as this function no longer does anything useful. For samsung platforms, remove the include of mach/system-reset.h and plat/system-reset.h from their respective mach/system.h headers as these just define their arch_reset functions. As a result, the s3c2410 and plat-samsung system-reset.h files are no longer referenced, so remove these files entirely. 2011-11-21ARM: restart: only perform setup for restart when soft-restartingRussell King1-1/+1
We only need to set the system up for a soft-restart if we're going to be doing a soft-restart. Provide a new function (soft_restart()) which does the setup and final call for this, and make platforms use it. Eliminate the call to setup_restart() from the default handler. This means that platforms arch_reset() function is no longer called with the page tables prepared for a soft-restart, and caches will still be enabled. 2011-09-26ARM: add an extra temp register to the low level debugging addruart macroNicolas Pitre1-1/+1
Some platforms (like OMAP not to name it) are doing rather complicated hacks just to determine the base UART address to use. Let's give their addruart macro some slack by providing an extra work register which will allow for much needed cleanups. This is basically a no-op as this commit is only adding the extra argument to the macro but no one is using it yet. 2010-11-21ARM: 6484/1: fix compile warning in mm/init.cAnand Gadiyar1-1/+1
Commit 7c63984b86 (ARM: do not define VMALLOC_END relative to PAGE_OFFSET) changed VMALLOC_END to be an explicit value. Before this, it was relative to PAGE_OFFSET and therefore converted to unsigned long as PAGE_OFFSET is an unsigned long. This introduced the following build warning. Fix this by changing the explicit defines of VMALLOC_END to be unsigned long. CC arch/arm/mm/init.o arch/arm/mm/init.c: In function 'mem_init': arch/arm/mm/init.c:606: warning: format '%08lx' expects type 'long unsigned int', but argument 12 has type 'unsigned int' Signed-off-by: Anand Gadiyar <gadiyar@ti.com> Acked-by: Uwe Kleine-K <u.kleine-koenig@pengutronix.dee> Acked-by: Nicolas Pitre <nicolas.pitre@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2010-10-20arm: return both physical and virtual addresses from addruartJeremy Kerr1-7/+5
Rather than checking the MMU status in every instance of addruart, do it once in kernel/debug.S, and change the existing addruart macros to return both physical and virtual addresses. The main debug code can then select the appropriate address to use. This will also allow us to retreive the address of a uart for the MMU state that we're not current in. 2010-10-01ARM: do not define VMALLOC_END relative to PAGE_OFFSETNicolas Pitre1-1/+1
VMALLOC_END is supposed to be an absolute value, while PAGE_OFFSET may vary depending on the selected user:kernel memory split mode through CONFIG_VMSPLIT_*. In fact, the goal of moving PAGE_OFFSET down is to accommodate more directly addressed RAM by the kernel below the vmalloc area, and having VMALLOC_END move along PAGE_OFFSET is rather against the very reason why PAGE_OFFSET can be moved in the first place. 2009-03-19[ARM] pass reboot command line to arch_reset()Russell King1-1/+1
OMAP wishes to pass state to the boot loader upon reboot in order to instruct it whether to wait for USB-based reflashing or not. There is already a facility to do this via the reboot() syscall, except we ignore the string passed to machine_restart(). This patch fixes things to pass this string to arch_reset(). This means that we keep the reboot mode limited to telling the kernel _how_ to perform the reboot which should be independent of what we request the boot loader to do.
