2012-05-11ARM: clps711x: Using a single definition for the PHYS and VIRT registers offsetAlexander Shiyan1-3/+2
Using a single definition for the physical and virtual address register for all variants boards clps711x. This patch also includes the use of a single function clps_read/write in some units. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2011-09-26ARM: add an extra temp register to the low level debugging addruart macroNicolas Pitre1-1/+1
Some platforms (like OMAP not to name it) are doing rather complicated hacks just to determine the base UART address to use. Let's give their addruart macro some slack by providing an extra work register which will allow for much needed cleanups. This is basically a no-op as this commit is only adding the extra argument to the macro but no one is using it yet. 2010-10-20arm: return both physical and virtual addresses from addruartJeremy Kerr1-7/+5
Rather than checking the MMU status in every instance of addruart, do it once in kernel/debug.S, and change the existing addruart macros to return both physical and virtual addresses. The main debug code can then select the appropriate address to use. This will also allow us to retreive the address of a uart for the MMU state that we're not current in. Updated with fixes for OMAP from Jason Wang <jason77.wang@gmail.com> and Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>, and fix for versatile express from Lorenzo Pieralisi <lorenzo.pieralisi@arm.com>. 2010-07-26ARM: 6262/1: arm/clps711x: fix debug macro compilation failureJeremy Kerr1-0/+1
We need mach/hardware.h for CLPS7111_VIRT_BASE. Signed-off-by: Jeremy Kerr <jeremy.kerr@canonical.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2010-02-12ARM: 5910/1: ARM: Add tmp register for addruart and loadspTony Lindgren1-1/+1
Otherwise more complicated uart configuration won't be possible. We can use r1 for tmp register for both head.S and debug.S. NOTE: This patch depends on another patch to add the the tmp register into all debug-macro.S files. That can be done with: $ sed -i -e "s/addruart,rx|addruart, rx/addruart, rx, tmp/" arch/arm/*/include/*/debug-macro.S Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-07[ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King1-0/+46
This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
